Dear Fellow Neighbors:

I recently changed my waste disposal service to a locally owned company called Southern Waste Disposal. I was contacted on a follow up customer service call, and after having such complimentary things to say about my new service, one of owners asked if I would put my comments in writing. As you can tell I agreed to do so.

Southern Waste Disposal provides scheduled service to our neighborhood on Wednesday mornings. They have been timely with their pickup and after empting the cans they return them to the house, which alleviates retrieving the can from the road and additionally gets the cans off the road much quicker. According to the Columbia County Neighborhood Watch folks, a garbage can at the road is an indication to a burglar of an empty home.
